Fundraising Progress
Approximately 100 students in the Class of 2010 at Loma Linda School of Medicine volunteered to take on this mission project. Each class member produced a list of approximately 20 friends & family they believed would be interested in supporting this project. We mailed a DVD featuring our class and our commitment to mission work, along with a letter detailing the project to those friends of the participating class members. Donors made tax deductible contributions on-line or via postage-paid envelope included with the letter and DVD.
Our initial fundraising campaign succeeded enormously. The first mailing brought in $28,000, a good start toward meeting our $100,000 goal. We have now raised a total of $97,500 as of June 10, 2010.
Goal
Our hope is to raise $100,000 Endowment for our Mission Hospital in Haiti. Hopefully, with 100 class members raising $1000 via their network of supporters and through lots of prayer, the doors of the storehouse will be opened.
Sponsors
We thank all of those who have generously supported this project.
